On Tuesday, November 28th, Boys & Girls Clubs enjoyed a visit of 45 volunteers at our Troy Clubhouse from one of our committed corporate partners, Grasshopper Heating & Cooling. It was a fantatstic day for two reasons.
First, the volunteers came to enjoy a 'day in the life' of a Club kid and spent time with our youth during their afterschool activities. They played kickball and basketball with kids in the gym; made arts & crafts that included clay snowmen, paper snowflakes and decorated hand cutouts; played video games in the AT&T Digital Learning Lab; and served our kids during their daily hot meal. See the photos below. Second, Grasshopper Heating & Cooling announced a unique and generous Giving Tuesday donation match in collaboration with Bruce Tanski Construction & Development.
